Venus “Darling” Hargett, 57, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2019. A visitation will be from 12-2 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel on Friday, January 25, 2019 with a memorial service to follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel.
She is survived by her mother, Shirley Ann Darling; son, Jeremah Hargett; sisters, Daniell Tippy and Angie Lopez; brothers, Dean, Brian, and Steve Darling; grandchildren, Emma Hargett, Justin Hargett, and Benjamin West; as well as a many nieces and nephews.
Memorials can be made to ASPCA, Colbert County Animal Shelter, and St. Judes.
