Mr. Shannon Leon Shankles, age 46, of Section, passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2019.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Chaplain Browning officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service.
Mr. Shankles is survived by his wife, Christie Shankles; children, Tyler Shankles, Chase Shankles (Ashley), Melissa McGuire, Joshua McGuire, and Johnny McGuire; granddaughter, Ally Bree Shankles; father, Samuel Vance; sisters, Samantha Vance and April Vance Thomas (Blake); brothers, Anthony Shankles (Shelia), Jeffery Shankles (Lynn), and Stephen Shankles (Felicia).
He was preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine Shankles.
