Danny Keith Loftis, age 62, of Winfield, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, January 2nd, 2019 at his residence.
Visitation, 12:00 Noon – 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 6th, 2019, at the Bowen Funeral Home, Winfield, Alabama. Funeral service, 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 6th, 2019 at the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel. Burial with graveside Military Honors, in the West Alabama Memorial Gardens in Gu-Win, Alabama. Bro. Ronnie Elmore and Bro. Gary Markham, officiating. Honorary pallbearers, members of the Winfield American Legion Post 100. Active pallbearers, Tim Mansfield, Tommy Austin, Rob Bolton, Mark McDonald, Jimmy Smothers and Shane Hughes.
Mr. Loftis was born April 23rd, 1956 in Foley, Alabama to Dan Loftis and Wanda Faye Mills Loftis. He was a 1974 graduate of Winfield City High School, a United States Navy Veteran and an active member of the Winfield American Legion Post 100.
He is survived by his wife, Debby Norris Loftis; 2 sons, Derreck Loftis of Jacksonville, FL., and Justin Parr of Winfield, AL.; 1 sister, Tina Smith (Neil) of Macon, MS.; his mother-in-law, Martha Norris of Winfield, AL.; 1 nephew, Tyler Lawrence of Winfield, AL.; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Wanda Faye Mills Loftis; and his father-in-law, James Norris.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Cornerstone Baptist Church building fund.
