The funeral service for Patricia “Pat” Watts, age 70 of Lineville, will be held on Monday, December 31, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville with Bro. Travis Mitchell and Bro. Calvin Pope officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Poplar Springs Cemetery.
Mrs. Watts passed away on Friday, December 28, 2018 at her home. A native and life-long resident of Clay County, she was a homemaker who loved canning, cooking, gardening and raising her family. Mrs.Watts was a member of Shirey’s Mill Assembly of God.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Billy R. Watts; two daughters: Connie Lovell and Jessica Nash (Geoff), three sons: Matthew Watts (Linda), Gerald Watts (Amanda) and Adam Watts (Tammy), all of Lineville plus 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one on the way.
Mrs. Watts was preceded in death by her parents: Terrell J. Mitchell and Sarah Millie Ruth Watts.
Bryan Lovell, Dylon Watts, Nicholas Watts, Payton Watts, Geoff Nash and Jonathan Lovell will serve as pallbearers. Mrs. Watts’ grandchildren and great-grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 30, 2018 from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville.
