Funeral services for Artha Vern “Shorty” Peek, 78, of Cullman are Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Cullman Funeral Home, with interment in Simcoe Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday from noon to 2 p.m.

Mr. Peek passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2018.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Peek and Millie Brown Peek; his wife, Brenda Peek and brother, Gartha Peek.
He is survived by his sons, Jeffery (Cindy) Peek and Timothy (Marie) Peek; daughters, Delena Isbell and Lorie (Jamie) Pendergrass; Joseph Lavon “Peanut” (Mary) Peek; sisters, Earlene (Odie) Curvin, Barbara Walker, Evelyn (Ronald) Brooks; 14 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made toward the funeral expenses.
