Thomas Byron Hardy, of Muscle Shoals, passed away on Monday, December 24, 2018 at the age of 70. His visitation will be Friday, December 28, 2018 from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The graveside service will follow at 1 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery, Sheffield.
Thomas was a native of Sheffield and served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. He retired from International Paper and was a member of York Terrace Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Katherine Hardy; and sisters, Linda Hardy Neyman, Maresa Hardy, and Michelle Hardy.
He is survived by his sisters, Rebecca Countiss Johnson, Jean Hardy Richardson, and Shelayne Hardy Thompson.
