Betty Sue Jordan, age 74, passed away December 20, 2018. She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard Monroe and Pirley Jordan and 11 brothers and sisters. Betty is survived by sisters, Lois Oliver, Otis Young and Sylvia Ann Jordan; nieces, April Robertson (Casey Silas), Crystal Beard (Lonnie), Ashley Gurganus (Ben); several nephews and numerous great-nieces and nephews. She had a strong personality and was very outspoken. Betty enjoyed reading and listening to gospel music, especially The McKameys. She loved her family and was very proud of them. She will be missed by all who knew her. Services will be held at New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home on Thursday, December 27, 2018. Memorial Service beginning at 2:00 pm with visitation one hour prior.
