Irvin Ross Strickland, 76, of Decatur, Alabama, passed away on December 18, 2018. His visitation will be held on Saturday, December 22nd from noon until 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home. The service will follow in the chapel with burial at Roselawn Cemetery. Brother Ralph Henderson is officiating.
Mr. Strickland was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar Frank and Nettie Lou Strickland; his wife, Joyce C. Strickland; brother, Joseph Strickland; sisters, Kate Pressley, Evelyn Johnson, Alma Robinson, and Mary Lou Motes.
He is survived by his daughter, Karen Strickland; and son, Steve Strickland; one grandson, Ben Strickland; brothers, James Ray Strickland and Skip Strickland, as well as various loving sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was a graduate of the University of Alabama, and spent his life as a CPA. He loved his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
