Mary E. Graham, 89, died Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Generations of Red Bay. She was born August 19, 1929 in Itawamba County, MS to Quitman and Ethel Strickland and was a retired school teacher. She was a member of Golden Chapel United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years.
Services will be Tuesday, December 18, 2 p.m. at Golden Chapel United Methodist Church, Golden, MS with Bro. Nathan Hodum and Bro. Donnie Riley officiating. Burial will be in Dennis Memory Gardens, Dennis, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her husband – John W. Graham; one sister – Alene Wiginton; one niece – Donna Ivy (Tillman); two nephews – David Wiginton (Barbara) and Dudley Strickland (Brenda) and a host of great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Betty Montgomery, two brothers, S.A. Strickland and Orville Strickland, two brothers-in-law, Elton Wiginton and Allan Montgomery, two sisters-in-law – Audrey Strickland and Opal Strickland and a nephew, Danny Wiginton.
Pallbearers will be Nick Wiginton, Raymond Timmons, Charlie Peden, Anthony Searcy, Andrew Strickland and Ramey Shook.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 18, 1-2 p.m. at Golden Chapel United Methodist Church, Golden, MS.
