Jimmy Neil Phillips, 77, of Decatur, passed away on December 15, 2018.
A Celebration of Life service will be Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with Brother Anthony Patterson officiating. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family will have a private graveside service on Father’s Day 2019.
Mr. Phillips was preceded in death by his parents, J.V. “Bill” and Elora Phillips and his son, Steven Phillips.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa Mitchell Phillips; sons, Mike Phillips (Teresa), Steve Phillips (Marian) and Mark Phillips (Brandy); seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sue Phillips and Kaye Lamb (Jim); numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Phillips was the owner of Cornerstone Furniture. He attended Gum Springs Baptist Church. He was a great husband, father and friend to all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gum Springs Baptist Church, 371 Gum Springs Road, Hartselle, AL 35640.
