James M. “Jim” Harris, age 84, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018 at NHC Healthcare of Scott in Lawrenceburg, TN. He was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN, retired from Union Carbide, a cattle and horseman, and a lifelong member of Lawrenceburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Flournoy and Elizabeth Murrell Harris; his wife, Frances Virginia Harris; and two sisters, Mary Nell Arno and Carol Ann Harris.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 10:00 AM Wednesday, December 19, 2018, with Jerry Everett officiating. Interment will follow at Mimosa Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN. Family suggests memorials be made to Lawrenceburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 228 South Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, TN 38464.
