Michael “Huck” Huckaba, 58, of Rogersville passed away Friday, December 7th, 2018 at North Alabama Medical Center. He was a graduate of Lauderdale County High School, worked as a heavy equipment operator with Operating Engineers Local 320 and was a longtime member of the Elgin Volunteer Fire Department.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 11th from 11 – 1 at Rogersville Funeral Home with funeral service following in the chapel. James Waddell will be officiating and the Elgin Volunteer Fire Department will serve as pallbearers. Burial will be at Harvey Cemetery.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Robert & Beatrice Huckaba; infant granddaughter, Gabrella and infant nephew, Charles Robert Huckaba. He is survived by his son, Michael Allen Huckaba; granddaughter, Faith Huckaba; siblings, Ruth Huckaba Steele, Nancy England and Jerry Huckaba; nieces, Martha Avans and Amanda Moore; nephews, Ashley England and Jeremy Huckaba and special friends with Elgin Volunteer Fire Department.
