Kenneth David Mauldin, age 77 of Cherokee, passed away on Sunday, December 2nd, 2018.
Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 9 at Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee. The funeral service will be Wednesday, December 5th at 2 p.m. at Asphalt Rock Baptist Church with Brother Andy Elliot officiating. The body will be at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Asphalt Rock Cemetery.
Kenneth was a native of Colbert County and a retired ironworker. He was a member of Eastside Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Anna Marie Mauldin, and his second wife, Sue Mauldin; parents, Wister and Annie Mae Mauldin; and sister, Ann Cochran.
He is survived by his sons, David Mauldin and Tim Mauldin (Suzanne); daughters, Tammie Mauldin and SuzAnne Goss (Marty); sister, Kay Hayes; six grandchildren, Nicole Borden, Jenna Mauldin, Colby Brents, Channin Goss, Emma Mauldin and Braden Mauldin; seven great-grandchildren, Makon, Presleigh, Whitley, Jaxton, Beau, Levi, and Avery.
Pallbearers will be Colby Brents, Channin Goss, Braden Mauldin, Coleton Young, Randy Elliot and Brandon Elliot. Honorary pallbearers will be Cole Mobley, Justin Mobley and Ronald Brents.
The family expresses special thanks to Hospice of North Alabama, especially to Lori Knight, Lindsey Rideou, and Machelle Williams.
