Pamela Woods Reed, age 63, of Woodstock, GA, formerly of Sulligent, AL, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2018 in Georgia. At the family’s request, a private Memorial Service will be held at Otts Funeral Home.

Pam was born on May 29, 1955 in Lamar County, Alabama to the late William Woods and the late Jesse Woolbright. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Don Reed of Woodstock, GA and his son, Warren Reed of Indianapolis, IN. Pam is survived also by sisters Phyllis (Thomas) Lucas of Sulligent, AL and Tammy Woods of Tuscaloosa, AL. Survived by one brother, Terry (Sandra) Woods of Sulligent, AL and many other close family members.

She graduated from Sulligent High School and The University of Alabama with a degree in Corporate Finance.  On the date 8/8/88, with her husband, she founded Kahler Communications Atlanta, an executive development and coaching firm, specializing in communications, leadership, and team building.  She trained and coached well over three hundred executives and managers from small local businesses to large international ones such as Siemens.  She worked with Siemens for over 25 years.  She had over two dozen clients for whom she worked over 20 years.  That is because she brought great knowledge and value to each of her clients.  She helped them grow both personally and professionally. As their careers advanced, they took her with them to conquer their next challenges. She greatly increased their skills and capabilities, their personal wealth, and their capacity for joy.  In mourning her passing, they have expressed their gratitude and love for her.  She touched so many lives so profoundly.

Born and raised to give back, as in her Christian faith, she devoted a large portion of her energy to The Boys & Girls Clubs of America, the nation’s  largest non-profit provider of services for at risk children.  She provided them her professional services for costs.  She trained in clubs from the East coast to the West coast and the Gulf coast to the Great Lakes for 25 years.  She impacted the lives of thousands of “her kids”. Her favorite club organization is run by her dear friend, Tim Sheahan.

She spent almost every day with her husband as they lived, loved, and worked together in their business.  Their love affair was exemplary and blessed by God daily.

Pam lived a life of devotion to others and grew from it every day.  She felt thankful and blessed.  Her legacy is in her love.

In lieu of flowers please donate in her name to: www.bgccnm.org.  This is greatly appreciated.
