Letitia “Tish” Swinney Benford, 55, of Phil Campbell, Alabama, passed away Monday, November 26, 2018 at her residence after a short illness. A loving wife and mother, she was a member of Adams Missionary Baptist Church. She was loved by all who knew her and will certainly be missed.
Visitation with family and friends will be Wednesday, November 28, 2018 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville. Funeral services will be Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Sherman Kimbrough and Joe Holmes officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Hill Cemetery, Phil Campbell, Alabama.
Surviving Mrs. Benford is her husband, Bill Benford, of Phil Campbell; parents, Bobby Jack and Nell Swinney; daughters, Tanna Benford and Tatum Benford; siblings, Lisa Taylor and husband, Patrick, Rick Swinney and wife, Cathy, and Ryan Swinney and wife, Tina; and nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Conard and Macie Swinney and Ernest and Ethlene Brown.
