The funeral service for Patricia M. “Pat” Moore, age 59 of Lineville, will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville with Rev. David Holcombe officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Poplar Springs Cemetery.
Mrs. Moore passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at Grandview Medical Center. She was a native of Talladega County but had lived most of her life in Clay County. Mrs. Moore had worked as a cook at Cheaha State Park but above all else was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Edward Earl Moore of Lineville; two sons: Randy Earl Moore and Adam Edward Moore, both of Lineville; one sister, Shelia Pate of Cragford; one brother, Sidney Mitchell of Waldo and three grandchildren: Dustin, Cody and Chloe Moore.
Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her parents: Marvin W. Mitchell and Mae Lois Phillips Mitchell and two brothers: Willis and Johnny Ray Mitchell.
Pallbearers will be Marty Pate, Jason Porter, Buford Moore, Sam McGaugan, Willis Mitchell, Bobby Hogan and Cameron Pate.
