Dora S. South, 82, of Florence passed away Friday, November 23, 2018. The graveside service will be at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 28, at Central Heights Community Cemetery with Wayne Wood officiating.
Dora worked at the Lauderdale County courthouse for over 20 years and was a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by the father of her children, Willard R. South; parents, O.W. and Imogene Peek; brother, Douglas Peek; and sister, Eva Smith.
Dora is survived by her sons, Jerry R. South (Desiree) and Judge Ricky V. South; daughter, Carrie L. South; 4 grandchildren, Clint South, Chrissy Moorer, Katy Frazer, and Sarah South; and her special pet, Tess.
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
