Betty Jo Lindsey, 76, of Florence passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2018. The funeral service will be Saturday, November 24, at 11:00 a.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights with Jeff Dowdy officiating. Burial will follow at Richardson Cemetery, Waterloo, AL.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Owen W. Lindsey.
She is survived by her sons, Anthony “Tony” Lindsey, Brian Lindsey, and Christopher Lindsey; daughter, Dreidre Nash; brother, James Vaden; sisters, Ann Bevis and Shirley Lack; and 3 grandchildren.
“No one loved flowers more than Momma, but the only thing she loved more was children. In this, her favorite season of the year, we ask you to remember her favorite charities of children-in-need, the Children’s Hospital of Alabama and the Salvation Army.”
