Watson-North Funeral Home is honored to be of service and ministry to the family of Vennie Mae Parkerson Cook, age 88 of Huntland. Mrs. Cook passed from this life on November 15, 2018 while surrounded by her loving family. She was a native of Lincoln County and was born to the late Herschel and Mellory Ross Parkerson. She will be remembered by the love she had for her family, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great- great grandchildren and especially for “you-boo”, the furbaby, she claimed as her own. She was an amazing seamstress, quilt master, cook, and thoroughly enjoyed crocheting. She leaves to cherish those memories her daughters, Josephine Howard, Becky (Randy) Jones; sister, Louise Bolden, 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 17 great-great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, spouse, brothers, Vance, Hubert, T.J., Ross and Tony Parkerson and sister, Lula Bell White. Visitation will be on Sunday November 18, 2018 from 6-8 and the funeral will be held on Monday November 19, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Elora Cemetery in Huntland, Tennessee with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
