FLORENCE– The grand opening date for North Alabama Medical Center on December 6, 2018… “It’s been the best kept secret in Florence for weeks,” said Russell Pigg, Chief Executive Officer of North Alabama Medical Center…celebrated the upcoming grand opening on Saturday, November 10 with a ribbon cutting ceremony and a tours of the new hospital. The NAMC will conduct tours all week long of the hospital located at 1701 Veterans Dr, Florence.
The event was held on the grounds of North Alabama Medical Center with several speakers. Russell Pigg CEO of NAMC as well as Gerard Haggstrom, M.D., Chief of Medical Staff, Mayor Steve Holt, Danny Pettus Chairman of the Lauderdale County Commission, Tyndal Davis, Hospital Board Chairman and Martin Rash of RCCH HealthCare Partners, Chairman and CEO.
The Florence High School Band kicked off the festivities by playing the National Anthem.
