Joan Marie Hamby ,69, of Boaz, AL passed from this life on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Shepherd’s Cove Hospice in Albertville, AL. Funeral services will be at 11 AM Wednesday November 7,2018 at Albertville Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Marshall Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Steve Young will officiate. Pallbearers will be friends and family. The family will visit with friends Tuesday November 6 ,2018 from 5PM-7PM at Albertville Funeral Home Downtown. She is survived by her son,Scotty White of Boaz, brother, Jimmie Wayne (Dale) Hamby of Knoxville, TN, nieces, Ara Hamby Langford of Knoxville, TN, Mary Joan Hamby McClure of Durham. NC, nephew, James Wayne Hamby of Knoxville, TN. Preceded in death by son, Terry White, parents, Maudean ” Dean” and Harold Wayne Hamby, grandparents, Minnie and Elmer (Short) Gillilan, Alexander and Cora Hamby.
