Peggy Leigh Taylor, of Tuscumbia, passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at the age of 70. Her visitation will be Friday, November 2, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. Funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Dr. David Gregg officiating.
Peggy was a native of Tuscumbia, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Jearlee Pate, both of Tuscumbia; and her loving husband of 48 years, James Taylor.
Peggy was a loving wife, mother and friend. She was a caregiver and homemaker for her family.
Her survivors include her daughter, Kiristie Gray and her husband, Mickey; and grandchildren, Nick, Mackaya, and Mackenzie; brother-in-law, Terry Taylor and wife Helen of Tuscumbia; special Aunt Bobbie Willis of Bellevue, Ohio; and numerous loving cousins.
Pallbearers will be Mickey Gray, Terry Taylor and friends.
The family would like to give special thanks to the Palliative Care Unit Team at ECM Hospital; Rosalie Gilbert, Sherry James, Leigh Peck, Delinda Faulkner, Dewanna Grace and April Killian.
