Emma Jean Woods, age 77 of Leighton, passed away on Thursday, October 18, 2018. Her visitation will be Sunday, October 21, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Gerald Borden officiating. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Ray Woods; infant son, James Eugene Hallmark; parents, Jessie Terrell and Cleo Letson Byrd; brothers, Ed, Jerry, Tommy and Jessie Byrd; and sisters, Ernestine McGuire and Doris Orre.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth Hallmark; brothers, Billy, Willard, Don and Jimmy Byrd; and grandchildren, Corey Hallmark and Haley Hallmark.
