Gene Raymond McNary, 77, of Huntsville passed away Tuesday, October 16th.
He is survived by his wife, Linda McNary; daughter, Carlene Osmer; son, Charles “Charlie” McNary; grandchildren, Austin Osmer and Cody McNary; great-grandchild, Landon McNary; and sister, Pat Strullmyer.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy McNary; brother, Pete McNary; and sister, Vivian Hewing.
He retired from the U.S. Army in 1978 after 20 years of service, where he served during the Vietnam War. He was in management with SCI, Sperry and Unisys, and self-employed in home building.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 18th from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Friday, October 19th at 2:00 p.m. officiated by Rev. J.W. Hawkins. Burial will be at Maple Hill.
