Funeral service for Darcel Jane “Mama Star” Workman, age 63, of Decatur, will be Tuesday, October 16, 2018, 7:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home with Mr. Ted Wilhite officiating. The family will receive friends for two hours prior to service.
Ms. Workman, who died Wednesday, October 10, 2018, at Huntsville Hospital, was born November 4, 1954, in Cape May Court House, NJ. She was a wrestler and a commercial freight driver.
She is survived by her husband, Warren Leonard “Lenny” Rieber of Decatur; two sons, Bellamy Carlos Hines of Baltimore, MD, and Jamie Richards of Boaz; three daughters, Tammy Medero of Virginia Beach, VA, Frances Simpson of South Carolina, and Hope Hines of Los Angeles, CA; 16 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
