Mrs. Betty Carylon Cobb 76, of Muscle Shoals, AL passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2018. Visitation will be Sunday Sept. 30, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will be Monday, at 12:30 p.m., in the funeral home chapel. Larry Kilpatrick will officiate. Interment will follow in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Betty was a native of Tuscumbia, AL. She was a gifted teacher and devoted most of her life to teaching others. Betty was a member of the Cox Boulevard Church of Christ and a faithful servant of the Lord.
Betty is survived by her son, Tim Cobb (Denise), of Muscle Shoals; daughter Donna Lawhead (David) of Muscle Shoals; sister Martha Reynnels, of Augusta, GA; and two grandchildren, Chase and Caroline Lawhead.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years James “Jim” H. Cobb; son David Cobb; and grandson Devan Cobb.
