The graveside funeral service for Elizabeth Ann “Betty” Arnold, age 79 of Heflin, formerly of Ashland, will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Springhill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Ms. Arnold passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Regional Medical Center – Stringfellow in Anniston. She was born to Wilborn and Odessa Arnold on March 11, 1939. Ms. Arnold lived in Ashland most of her life and attended Clay County High School.
She is survived by one sister, Ruby Crider of Hoover and many nieces and nephews. Ms. Arnold was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Lisa Ann Browning; three sisters: Mary Lou Linton, Lillian Linton and Elna (Ted) Ratliff and two brothers: Benton Arnold and Junior Arnold.
Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
There will be no public visitation prior to the graveside service.
Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland is in charge of the arrangements.
