Dowin Chandler, age 85, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Thursday, October 11, 2012 at his residence in Lawrenceburg, TN. He was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN, retired employee of Murray Ohio, and a member of Mt. Lebanon Methodist Church. He was also a member of Mimosa Lodge No. 542, Disabled Veterans Chapter 20, and the American Legion Post 146. He served his country honorably as an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
His parents were the late Henry Cleveland and Tisha Nell Sills Chandler.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Benjamin Chandler, five brothers, Oliver, Hershel, C.L., J.H. and Nelson Chandler, two sisters, Earlene White, and Betty Perkins.
