Jeffery Boyd Michael, 59, of Tuscumbia passed away Thursday, September 20, 2018. Visitation will be Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. Funeral will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Troy Fisher officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Tuscumbia.
Jeffery was a native of Colbert County and was a member of Barton Baptist Church. He was a machine operator for the City of Tuscumbia. He loved to mechanic especially on transmissions.
Jeffery was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Michael.
He is survived by his mother, Annette Michael; brothers, Bryon, Tim (Reba) and Andy Michael; and a special friend and caregiver, Linda Willis.
Pallbearers will be Whit Lyles, Tommy McCrory, Bo Stanley, Earl Willard, Luster Echols and Greg Willingham.
The family would like to express special thanks to Hannah and the staff of Community Care Hospice, the city employees, and all the friends who have shown many acts of kindness during Jeffery’s illness.
