Martha Amelia Adams, age 69 of Florence, AL, formerly of Haleyville, AL, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2018. She was a retired registered nurse, an auxiliary member of VFW, auxillary member of American Legion, life member of auxiliary Disabled American Veterans, Emaus Walk 176, Pilot Club member, Red Cross volunteer, volunteer for mission work and a member of Underwood Baptist Church where she sang in the choir.
Visitation will be Friday, September 21, 2018 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville, AL. Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with James Senn officiating. Burial will follow in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Adams is survived by her husband, Gene Edward Adams; daughter, Leigh Ann (Chris) Roberson; step-son, Gene Barry Adams; and grandchildren, Will and Lauren Roberson.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Jeanette Granade; and two children.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Hospital or Shriners Hospital for Children.
