Jill Juanita Mansell, 47, passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2018 in her home on Hawk Pride Mountain.
She was born in Sheffield, and was a graduate of Colbert Heights High School. She was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church where she worked as the church clerk, was over the cemetery operation and was the recorder. Jill was an avid reader and gardener as well as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all those who were lucky enough to have met her.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Wanda Johnson; brother, Max Johnson; and sister, Karen Johnson.
Jill is survived by her loving husband, Kevin Eugene Mansell; her father, Truman Johnson; her sons, Eric Mansell and wife, Megan, Jacob Mansell and Matt Mansell; her daughters, Molly Mansell and Alicia Mansell Smith; and five grandchildren.
Her visitation will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2018 beginning at 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at New Bethel Baptist Church. The service will immediately follow at 12:30 p.m. with Greg Willis officiating. Interment will be in New Bethel Cemetery.
