Mr. Eddie Dale Hall, 71, died Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at his residence. He was born December 8, 1946 to Alvis and Nona Estelle Wren Hall. He was a hard worker and employed in maintenance by Day Brite Lighting Co. (Phillips Lighting) for 49 years. Mr. Eddie served in the U.S. Army Reserve, 323rd Company. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, going on cruises, and eating ice cream. He was talented with his hands and could fix anything. He loved spending time with his grandchildren who lovingly called him Papaw. Eddie attended West Main Church of Christ.
A funeral service will be at 4 PM today (Wednesday) in the Tupelo Chapel of Holland Funeral Directors with Minister Doug Greenway officiating. Private burial will follow in Tupelo Memorial Park. Visitation will be today from 2 PM to service time.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Hall of Tupelo; children, Nathan Hall and his wife, Allison of Corinth and Nancy Hudson and her husband, Mike of Ripley; two sisters, Johnnie Richey (Hoyt) of Tupelo and Sue Herring of Saltillo; Sister-in-law, Shirley Hambrick of Tupelo; two grandchildren, Emma Hall and Maddy Hall of Corinth, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers-in-law, Billy Herring and Julian Hambrick.
Pallbearers will be Terry Herring, Tyler Herring, Justin Kitchen, Ricky Duncan, Jay Duncan, Scotty Richey, Cody Richey, Lance Richey, and Kenneth Kelly.
