Charles Phelps Schooley died on Saturday, August 25, 2018 in Decatur.
Charles was born January 6, 1935 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, to Charles Wesley Schooley and Elizabeth Phelps Schooley. He graduated from Penn State University. Following his military service he worked for the Army Missile Command at Redstone Arsenal in the Patriot Missile Project Office. Following his retirement he worked for contractor CAS.
Charles is survived by his wife, Jo Anne Livingston Schooley and sons, David Schooley and Andrew Schooley. He is survived by grandson, Alexander Schooley and great-grandsons, Brantley and Sawyer.
A memorial service will be held in Huntsville at Berryhill Funeral Home at 2305 North Memorial Parkway on Saturdayk, September 8th from 5 to 6 p.m. with visitation from 4 to 5 p.m.
The family requests no flowers. Donations may be made to Hospice of the Valley or to the charity of your choice.
