Ronnie D. Terry – Obituary

Ronnie D. Terry, age 64, resident of Pulaski, passed away Monday, August 20, 2018 at his residence.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 25th at 1:00pm at Heritage Funeral Home. His body will lie in state on Saturday from 12pm until the 1:00pm service at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Ronnie was born December 29, 1953 in Chattanooga and was the son of the late Shelby Terry and the late Minnie Collier Terry. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. He was very religious and was of the Christian faith, never judging anyone for what their beliefs were.   He was extremely educated and had written five books. Some of his hobbies included golfing, playing chess, fishing, horseback riding, swimming, and going to the beach. Ronnie also enjoyed listening to music and dancing. Most of all, he loved spending time with his kids and grandkids. He was always giving great advice that everyone treasured. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his children: Jerald Terry and Donnie Terry, both of AL, Paul Bincent (Lori) Butler of FL, Joseph (Jennie) Kelley of Tullahoma, Sherry (Hal) Pressnell of Columbia, Nicole (Tracy) Lathom of Lewisburg, and Dario (Nickie) Terry of AL; sisters: Marsha Holloway of AL and Sandra Norwood of TN; and 17 grandchildren.

Along with his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by his wife: Linda Terry.
