Dorothy Hooten “Dot” Baxter, age 86 of Franklin, TN passed away August 18, 2018. Member of Heritage Church of Christ. Preceded n death by husband, James I. Baxter; grandson, James Benton Baxter; parents, Spivey Porter and Anna Louise Winchester Hooten; brothers, Willie B. Hooten and Robert P. Hooten. Survived by: son, Tim (Karen) Baxter; grandchildren, Keith Baxter & Rusty (Jenny) Baxter; sister, Marguerite Hooten Porter. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Friday, August 24, 2018 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Steve Blackman and Jim Taylor officiating. Interment Polk Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to Meals On Wheels.
