L.V. McCarley, age 88, Haleyville, Alabama passed away Sunday August 19, 2018. He was a retired Truck Driver, member of New Hope Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Tuesday August 21, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, Alabama. Funeral Wednesday August 22, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel, with Jerry Pounders and Ritchie Emerson officiating. Burial to follow in New Hope Cemetery.
L.V. is survived by his wife of 67 years, Cordelia Harrison McCarley; daughters, Joyce (Gary) Simms and Kathy (Billy) Osborn; brother, Truman (Martha) McCarley; grandchildren, Jonathan Simms, Christopher (Angela) Simms, Stefanie (Matt) McClellan and Natalie (Jimmy) Marion; great grandchildren, Madison Simms, Luke Simms, Evalee McClellan, Matthew Meadow, Mae Meadow and Liam Meadow; a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elgin and Melvertie McCarley; several brothers and sisters.
