Mrs. Nell Irene Goins, age 99, of Arab, passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at Marshall Medical Center North.
Mrs. Goins was born on February 22, 1919 in Amerillo, Texas to Tom Gary & Janie Clardy Gary. Mrs. Goins was married to the late Jack Goins who passed on April 15, 1994 they had lived in the Arab area since 1964. She enjoyed knitting, gardening, volunteering with hospice and loved helping people.
Mrs. Goins is a member of Gilliam Springs Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Candy Goins Kelley; son & daughter-in-law, Leonard Wilson Raney & Nancy; grandchildren, Kandi Kay Moat, Steven Raney & Kelly, Chad Raney & Debbie, Deena Washam & Alan, Michelle McAnnally & Chris, Ashlee Raney Reaves, Regina Brown; 12 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Florene Campbell; grandchild, Gabe Raney.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday August 18, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Bro. Max Roden, officiating. Burial will be in Gilliam Springs Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Gerald Hatley, Shannon Head, Larry Cruise, Chad Raney, Alan Washam, Chris McAnnally.
Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Saturday August 18, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
