Graveside services for Mrs. Geraldine White Houston, age 77, are scheduled for 3 PM, Friday, August 17, 2018 at New Hope Cemetery in the Shady Hill Community with Bro. Clint Sanders officiating. Mrs. Houston passed away early Wednesday at her home in Lexington. She was born August 28, 1940 in Hardin County to the late Murray and Mabel Marilyn Thompson White. She retired as a supervisor from J C Penney after over 21 years and was a member of Second Baptist Church in Lexington. She enjoyed gardening. She was preceded in death by one stepson, Keith Brian Houston; two brothers, Fred and Butch White; and a brother-in-law, Johnny Houston. Survivors include her husband of 25 years, Mr. Abie Houston; two daughters, Joy Thompson and Chastity Thompson; stepdaughter, Kim Davidson; two sisters, Bonita Hillhouse (Dwight) and Lucille Aaron; three grandchildren, Kellie Bradley (Wes), Kelley Buttrey (Brandon), and Holly Davidson; five great grandchildren, Logan and Grayson Bradley, Zachary, Joshua, and Kaden Buttrey; and one sister-in-law, Charlotte Paulk (John).
