William Vaughn McCaleb, Jr., age 85, of Jasper, passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at St. Vincent’s Hospital.
Mr. McCaleb was a Navy veteran who served aboard the USS Fort Maydan.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, with funeral services following at 11:00 a.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at New River Church of Christ Cemetery.
Mr. McCaleb was preceded in death by his Father-William Vaughn McCaleb, Sr.; Mother-Edril Hubbert McCaleb; Great Granddaughter-Marlee Jo McCaleb; Brother-C.A. McCaleb; Sister-Eloise McCaleb Haas.
He is survived by his Wife of 59 years-Lois Ford McCaleb; Daughter-Lynn McCaleb Rucker (Marty); Sons-William Vaughn McCaleb, III (Phyllis) and Kevin E. McCaleb (Laura); Brother-Steven Hubbert McCaleb; Grandchildren-Christopher, Michael, Amanda, Ashlynn, Kaitlynn and Gracelynn; Great Grandchildren-Emma, Jada, Bella, Amelia, Layla, Jordan, Jakson, Jacob and Kashton, Host of nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.
