Waymon “W. D.” Maltbie, age 84, of Guntersville passed away Thursday, August 9, 2018 at Shepherds Cove Hospice.
He will have a visitation from 11:30 until 2, Saturday, August 11, 2018 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Marshall Memorial Gardens. Casket bearers will be Alan Maltbie, Brett Maltbie, Brelan Maltbie, Brian Summerville, Bob Blaker and Brandon Whitehead. Honorary pallbearer will be Wayne White.
The family has requested no flowers; donations can be made to Shepherds Cove Hospice.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Maltbie, sons, Russell and Randy Maltbie, step-children, Sonya Sparks and Jim Matthews, nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, sisters, Jean Hudson, Janice Eller and Carol Summerville.
