Watson-North Funeral Home is honored to be of service and ministry to the family of Mr. Stan Lee Anderson, age 70 of Estill Springs.  Mr. Anderson passed from this life on August 2, 2018 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville.  He is preceded in death by his mother, Ollie Louise Tucker and his father, Guy Anderson; sister, Glynda Johnson; brothers, Frank, Polk, Buck, Guy and Jim Anderson.  He leaves to mourn his passing and cherish many memories, his spouse of 53 years, Ona Harper Anderson; sons, Michael Anderson of Florida and Robbie Anderson of Estill Springs; granddaughters, Ashley (Jeffrey) Matthews of Estill Springs, Peyton Anderson of Tullahoma, Abigail Anderson of Florida; great-grandson Caden Putnam; great-granddaughter, Olive Anderson; sisters, Joyce (Ron) Kidd and Sherry Holt, both of Tullahoma; special friends, Earnie and Melanie Colvin of Estill Springs and a host of extended family.  His pride and joy was his Corvette and his grandchildren.  There are not enough words to explain what an awesome and kind man Stan was.  He dearly loved his sons and mentored them into the strong and principled men they are today.  A genuine friend to many, he never met a stranger and was the first to step forward to help friends, neighbors and people he didn’t know with their projects.  In addition to those he loved and cherished, there is no doubt that after Stan’s passing, there will be many a dripping faucets, garage doors that doesn’t open properly and lights that won’t work.  Stan was the kind of man that “kept life fixed” for everyone around him.  Words cannot describe the fullness of life Stan brought to this world. Stan’s family will receive friends on Monday August 6, 2018 at Watson-North Funeral Home between the hours of 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. after which his life will be celebrated with Bro. Anthony Roberts serving as officiant and moderator. Online condolences may be sent to www.watsonnorth.com
