James Lee Taylor, age 82 of Tuscumbia, passed away on Monday, July 30, 2018. Services will be private.
James was a native of Tuscumbia and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his wife, Millicent Taylor; son, Jimmy Taylor; brother, Carl Taylor; and sister, Mae Willis; parents, Oscar and Bessie Davis Taylor.
His survivors include his daughters, Amy Taylor of Athens, GA, Suzanne Thompson of Decatur, Annette Betts of Pontotoc, MS and Debra Handley of Florence; brother, George Taylor of Lakeland FL; grandchildren, Sara Reed Thompson, Anne Hatcher Thompson, Daniel Handley, Mark Taylor, Jermy Stevens and Michelle Roye; and great-grandchild, Kyleigh Marie Roye.
