Price Harley Kent, of Tuscumbia, passed away on Monday, July 30, 2018 at the age of 74. His visitation will be Thursday, August 2, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will be Friday, August 3, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home with David Conley and Jesse Winn officiating. Burial will follow in Barton Cemetery.
Harley was a native of Colbert County and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was the co-owner of Kent and Fuller Cabinets and a member of the Shoals Church of Christ. He was a former member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans. Proceeding him in death were his wife, Leola Lee Kent; brother, Joseph Lawrence Kent; and parents, Price and Oma Kent.
He is survived by his son, Tim Kent (Stacie) of Sheffield; brother-in-law, Ronnie Stonecipher (Janita); sisters, Marjorie Laverne Benson and Martha Carol Hays; and 4 grandchildren, Chase, Timmy, Carlee and Stevie.
Pallbearers will be James Lindsey, H.E. “Slim” Alsobrooks, Jerry Vickery, Steve James, Crochen Seal, Steve Lewis, Junior McCrory and Ronnie Stonecipher.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Men of the Little Ryman.
