Karen Bowen, age 60, of Jasper, AL, passed away Friday, July 27, 2018 at Mt. Royal Towers Nursing Home in Birmingham, AL. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 30, 2018 at 3:00pm from Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Lampkin Cemetery. Bro. Armen McDill to officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 2:00pm until 3:00pm.
Karen was born on October 9, 1957 in Placer County, California to the late A.O. Bowen and Julie Anderson. Karen was a 1975 graduate of Lincoln High School in Lincoln, CA and later graduated from the University of Alabama.
