Tuscumbia resident Nina Mae Letson Fields passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at the age of 78. Her visitation will be Wednesday, July 25 between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will be Thursday, July 26 at 10:00 a.m. at the River Road Church of Christ (where she had been a member for approximately 50 years) with Bruce Blankenship officiating. She will be buried in Shoals Memorial Gardens.
Nina was preceded in death by her parents, William and Ollie Letson, and her beloved husband for more than 50 years, Lloyd Fields.
She is survived by her son, Kirk (Janet) Fields; daughters, Diane (Mark) Maddox, Pam (Anthony) George and Nena (Darrell) Hill; brother, Mac Letson; sister, Lois Garza; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and her very dear friends, Anna and Rickey Anderson.
Pallbearers will be Devin Mitchell, Dillon Mitchell, Colton Marks, Caleb Stonecipher, David Welborn and Eric James.
