He was retired from Ford Motor Company and owner of Coldwater Café in Tuscumbia. He loved the farm life and always treasured being outdoors with cows. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude or First United Methodist Church in Tuscumbia.

David loved Psalm 91. He prayed it and lived it and always told people “God Bless You”.
