Barbara Lewis Palmer, 81, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2018. She was a faithful member of Rogersville United Methodist Church where she sang in choir for over 20 years. Some of her loves were music and dancing, as well as watching her grandchildren play in sports and activities.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 25, 2018 from 11-1 p.m. at the Rogersville United Methodist Church. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at the church with Reverend Bill Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ross Palmer; parents, Phil and Cora Lewis; brother, David Lewis.
Survivors include her children, Jeff Palmer (Lori), Greg Palmer (Judy) and Todd Palmer (Patty) all of Rogersville; grandchildren, Zach Palmer, (Keely), Valerie Palmer, Jacob Palmer, Brett Palmer, Dayne Palmer all of Rogersville; brother, Bill Lewis of Falkville; sister Betty Henson of Huntsville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Zach Palmer, Jacob Palmer, Brett Palmer, Dayne Palmer, Chase Crumbley and Zane Crumbley.
The members of the Hannah Sunday School Class will be honorary pallbearers.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Ella Watkins, Myra Watkins and Ms. Okie as well as the Branding Iron Cowboy Church and the Rogersville United Methodist Church for all the food and prayers.
