Linda Sue Killingsworth Folsom left this world with her family by her side on July 19 to meet Jesus (and hopefully Elvis) after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Linda Sue leaves behind her husband of 58 years, Pat; her daughters, Michelle (David) and Kimberly; her sister, Teresa Maddox (Frank); brother, Randall (Becky); 16 nieces and nephews; and her most cherished granddaughter, Haley. Linda Sue was preceded in death by her parents, JR and Eunice Killingsworth and brother, Billy Farrell Killingsworth.

Linda Sue was born in Coffee County, Alabama. She graduated from the University of Alabama-Huntsville with a bachelor’s in nursing. Linda was devoted to her years of nursing at Chrysler Corporation. Linda’s caring ways for her friends, family, neighbors, co-workers and strangers will leave a legacy of kindness.

Visitation will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Willowbrook Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at the church at 3 p.m. with Pastor Doug Merchant officiating. Burial is immediately following at Camp Ground Cemetery.

The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Ann, Sonya, Gloria, Debbie, Cecilia, Belinda, and Mary with Compassionate Companions for helping to care for “Miss Linda”. Many thanks go to the staff at South Hampton Nursing facility and Kindred Hospice. Your nurturing care made her last days as peaceful as possible.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Willowbrook Baptist Church.
