Robert Pope, age 71, Haleyville, AL. passed away Thursday July 19, 2018. He attended Posey Mill Baptist Church, retired mechanic from the Coal Mining Industry.
A visitation with the family will be Sunday July 22, 2018 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, with the Memorial Service at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel, with Bro. Rayburn Whitman officiating.
He is survived by his wife, Diane White Pope; children, Theresa (Dalton) Harris, Wayne Pope and David (Nikki) Pope; grandchildren, Hallie and Allie Harris, Austin Pope, Natalie Pope and Kyler Pope; sisters, Ella Mae Daniels, Mary (Wayne) Burt, Jenny Rotenberry and Lillie Ann (Bill) Nester; brother, Thomas Pope; a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Will and Bessie Brewer Pope; brothers, Clyde and Travis Pope; brother in laws, Bud Daniels and Preston Rotenberry; sister in law, Virginia Pope.
