Debra Lambert – Obituary

Funeral services for Debra Lambert, age 54 of Goodwater, will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Benefield Funeral Home of Ashland, with Rev. Mark Kytan officiating. Burial will follow in the Clay County Memory Gardens.

Mrs. Lambert passed away Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Clay County Hospital. She was a native and life-long resident of Clay County, a graduate of Mellow Valley High School, and a member of Pleasant Hill Methodist Protestant Bible Church. Debra was a nurse’s aide for 21 years at the Lineville Health and Rehab Center and the Clay County Nursing Home. She loved riding her golf cart, making latch hook rugs, watching and taking care of her nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her husband: Larry Lambert Goodwater; two sisters: Sandra Edmondson of Ashland, and Brenda Kytan (Mark) of Cragford; one brother: Chris Gibson (Charlotte) of Ashland; several nieces and nephews, and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Uloan Claude Gibson and Jessie Laverne Denney Gibson; and one daughter: Kayla Willis

Pallbearers will be: Westley Edmondson, Jeffery Hunkapillar, Nathan Kytan, Tyler Potts, Erin Potts, and Gage Gibson.

The family will receive friends from 5:30 until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, July 2, 2018 at Benefield Funeral Home of Ashland and until service time on Tuesday.
